Design and Engineering
Your wastewater streams are unique, so CASTion provides design and engineering services tailored to your needs. Our engineers will work with your plant staff to identify, analyze and segregate process waste streams to maximize recovery and develop the most cost efficient system.
Fabrication, Installation and Start-up
We manufacture and assemble the components of your system at our 20,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Worcester, Massachusetts. Once your system is assembled, we perform quality testing and ship it to your plant to minimize installation time. Our staff will work with you to avoid disruptions to your plant operations as we install and start your system.
Client Support Services

CASTion Laboratory
Our state-of-the-art laboratory services are another unique advantage you'll receive as a CASTion client. We encourage you to send us samples for detailed evaluation and treatment modeling. We use bench-scale filtration, flash vacuum distillation, ion exchange and membrane screening to process the samples and choose the appropriate technology for your wastewater. We provide a formal report that clearly outlines each unit operation and recommended treatment process. Our lab also offers basic analytical testing, such as tests for minerals, metals and standard wet-chemical methods.
Pilot Facilities
We have both small and full-scale pilot systems at our Worcester facility where we optimize your system during the design phase and before fabrication and installation. We also offer mobile pilot systems to conduct tests at your site. Each pilot unit is self-contained and mounted on a corrosion-resistant portable skid, pre-wired, pre-piped and configured for easy installation. It can be operated individually or interconnected with other units to simulate a specific treatment train.
Modeling
