METAL RECOVERY PROCESS
Discover CASTion’s cost-effective wastewater treatment systems for plating and recovery of valuable metals concentrate while eliminating the need for wastewater disposal in a sanitary sewer with CASTion's Metal Recovery Process. Our basic Metal Recovery Process primarily consists of an acid-resistant CAST with post-treatment of the distillate with granular-activated carbon and service deionization cylinders.
To remove metal, contaminated wastewater treatment begins with the Metal Recovery Process, and may have different pre-treatment and post-treatment components depending on your wastewater characteristics and the metals contamination. However, our basic process can be used effectively in most applications, including effective wastewater treatment systems for plating . Our CAST system is one of the most remarkable wastewater treatment systems for plating there is available on the market.

For example, our basic Metals Recovery Process could recover 99% of the metals from a chrome etching process with metals contamination that included argon, barium, cadmium, chromium, copper, lead, selenium, silver and zinc in an acidic metal contaminated wastewater. Treatment would produce recovered wastewater with purity levels (1.5 mega-ohm resistivity) sufficient for reuse as process water, which would eliminate the need to dispose of the wastewater in a sanitary sewer. The metals concentrate could be recycled.
Contact CASTion to find out how we can help you recover metals with effective metal contaminated wastewater treatment, and eliminate the costs of sanitary sewer disposal.
